different approach to logo design
The standard method of logo design
within the graphics industry as offered in my FULL PACKAGE option is to design 5 different
designs for the client
to choose from. While this may be fine for companies that have a large
budget, those on a limited budget are forced to pay for 4 designs that
they know that they will be throwing away. Years ago I came up
with the "à
la carte" option to make it affordable
for my clients to get top quality, custom designed logos without requiring them to purchase
5 designs. Instead, you can purchase logo designs one at a time for $250 each
instead of 5 for a $1000. If you like the first design, then you just
saved $750 by not having to purchase the other four designs. If you like the first design, but would like to make some
minor changes you pay only for the changes at $50 per hour (usually one or
two hours). If you want to try an entirely new design, then you can choose
to order another
design for $250. This has been by far the most popular logo order method
as it has allowed my clients to order custom logo designs at a fraction of
the cost of the full package option!

In the following section, whatever is not specified will

Color Preferences
Please indicate whether you desire any specific colors. If you do not have any
color preference and would like for me to come up with the color scheme then please
indicate by typing "you decide" in the box below.
Graphical Preferences
Please indicate if you have any specific graphic that you would like to include
in the logo design. For instance, AT&T has a globe for their logo graphic, Apple
Computer has an apple with a bite out of it as their logo graphic etc.
Please limit graphics to one or at most two graphical elements. For instance,
the "LeZebra"
logo in my Business Logo Samples section is an example of a logo design with a
single graphical element... a zebra's head... while the "Harvest
of Praise" logo in my Ministry Logo Samples section is an example of a logo
design with two graphical elements... a globe and a stalk of wheat. If you would
like a logo design with more than two graphical elements, then please email or
call me so that I can work up a custom illustration quote for you (the sample
logos on my site include designs with more than two graphical elements).
If you do not have a specific graphic in mind and you would like for me to come
up with something for you, then please indicate this by writing "you decide" in
the box below.

to three as more will cause confusion. This list helps me to understand
what logo style you are seeking.

If paying
by check or money order, please be sure to mail out
the full amount right away
as you will be added to the schedule
only after the payment has arrived. The completion time will vary
depending upon the number of jobs currently on my schedule at the time of your
order.
Once your design has been completed, you will receive a screen resolution jpg of
it for review. Once you have approved the design, the final files will be
uploaded to the web server and a link will be emailed to you allowing you to
download the files for you to backup onto your hard drive and CD-ROM etc. If you
do not have a CD burner or for some other reason would like me to mail you a
copy of your files on CD-ROM, you may request it for an additional fee.

A logo for the purposes of
this flat rate ordering method is limited to text, for example, a company or
organization name, and one or at most, two graphical elements Anything beyond this will be considered an
illustration and will be priced under the pricing guidelines of an
illustration. Alterations are deemed billable if a change is requested to
the design that the customer did not originally indicate on the order form.
All design instructions
including alterations must be in writing either via email or postal mail.
Any instructions given by phone directly or via the answering machine will
not be deemed as valid requests. Please note that while it is Mike Bennett
Graphics goal and purpose to create a logo design which will meet with the
customer's full satisfaction, Mike Bennett Graphics does not make nor
imply a guarantee that customer satisfaction will be achieved and the
customer understands that in hiring Mike Bennett Graphics to design a
logo, the customer is paying the agreed upon fee as compensation solely
for Mike Bennett Graphics' time and not as a condition of the customers
liking of or satisfaction with the design and is therefore obligated to
pay all fees agreed to regardless of the outcome.
